Bio/Mazi Moayed:
Coach Mazi Moayed is the Head Coach/Offensive Coordinator at Marin Catholic High School. Coach Maz led the Wildcats to the MCAL Championship and an overall 12-1 record in his first season as head coach. Before that, he helped lead MC to an NCS championship and a CIF Bowl birth during his 2 year tenure as Assistant Head Coach/Defensive Coordinator. Maz brings a vast knowledge of football technique and strategy to Wildcat Football Camps. Coach Mazi began his coaching career at Novato High School where he helped lead them to a 13-0, NCS championship season in 2002, and a county record setting season for fewest yards allowed per game in 2003. Mazi has also coached at Berkeley High School, San Rafael High School, and College of Marin. As a player, he started as safety for the Semi-Pro North Bay Rattlers who were undefeated for the 4 years he played. He is known throughout our area as a leader in teaching young people the fundamentals of the game while instilling in players the desire to compete and execute their skills with effort and intensity. Coach Mazi will work with the defensive backs and running backs.
Bio/Ken Peralta:
San Francisco 49er 2010 High School Coach Of The Year, Ken Peralta is a teacher and Football Coach at Marin Catholic High School in Kentfield, California. Marin Catholic finished 13-2 in 2009, won the NCS D-3 championship in 2009 and played for the California State D-3 Championship in 2009. Coach Peralta transitioned to the Freshman Head Coach position at Marin Catholic in 2010 and went undefeated for the season. In 7 seasons at MC Coach P's teams played for four section championships (winning two), won four league championships and made the section semi-finals in two out of the remaining three years. Coach Peralta brings over 25 years of coaching experience to Norcal Football Camps . “Coach P” began his career in 1981 at Sacred Heart High School in San Francisco. His coaching stops have taken him to the great states of Washington, Kansas and New Mexico. He has coached football at six high schools, one junior college and one four-year college. Coach P has coached with the Oakland Raiders at their summer Youth Skills Camp and has been the Director of the NFL Junior Player Development Program in San Francisco and in Marin County. At camp he will work with the offensive and defensive lines.
